ISI Agribusiness Research and Development Institute S/S Ltda., A private legal entity registered with CNPJ under number 31.915.989/0001-97, headquartered in Cambé/PR (“ISI”), we understand as sensitive and relevant the electronic records and personal data left by you (“User”) when using the various ISI websites and services (“Pages”), serving this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to regulate, in a simple, transparent and objective, what data and information will be obtained, as well as when they can be used.

This Policy applies to ISI Pages, understanding as such all those listed on the official ISI website, at http://isiinstitute.com/pt/inicio/, covering all of its products such as ISI Sys and ISI App.

To better illustrate the way in which we process data, we present a summary of our Privacy Policy and Protection of Personal Data (“Policy”):

This Policy may be updated, at any time, by ISI, upon notice on the website.

I. WHAT DATA DO WE USE

ISI may collect the information actively entered by the User at the time of registration and also information collected automatically when using the pages and the network, such as, for example, IP with date and time of connection, among others.

Thus, there is the treatment of two types of personal data: (i) those provided by the User himself; and (ii) those collected automatically.

(i) Information provided by the User: ISI collects all the information actively entered by the User in the Pages, such as full name, user, password, email in addition to the company’s data such as company name, CNPJ, address, state registration. In addition to registration data at ISI Sys, all information actively entered by users for use of the platform is collected, such as: property registrations, owner, regional, epidemiological units, lots and result information such as zootechnical performance, management, ISI Macro, health and nutrition. ISI will use this information for the purpose of identification, personalization of access, communication and user interaction in our areas.

(ii) Data collected automatically: ISI also collects a series of information automatically, such as: Internet Protocol (IP address), browser type, the ISP, date and time of the visit to local addresses and digital documents, and aims to produce statistical data, access control and security.

It is possible to disable, through the settings of your internet browser, the automatic collection of information through some technologies, such as cookies and caches, as well as on our own website, specifically regarding cookies. However, the User must be aware that, if these technologies are disabled, some resources offered by the website, which depend on the treatment of said data, may not work correctly. For ISI Sys and ISI App, when disabling the use of cookies, there will be no operation preventing login on the platform.

Furthermore, we clarify that your information may also be shared with companies that provide the technological and operational infrastructure necessary for ISI’s activities, such as information storage service providers.

Personal information, privacy and communication options can be edited in the user’s registration. At any time the registered user can request the deletion of his personal data by canceling his which must be requested by the isi@isiinstitute.com. The deletion of personal data will take place within a maximum period of 180 days when there is no legal impediment. Any other data related to the canceled account will be anonymized.

II. HOW WE USE THE DATA

The information collected by ISI has the purpose of establishing a contractual link or identification, personalizing access, communication and user interaction in our areas, adapting them to your preferences and tastes, as well as creating new services and products to offered to Users.

Legal base: In these cases, data processing is authorized by item I of article 7 of Law No. 13,709/2018, the General Data Protection Law (“General Data Protection Law – LGPD”).

III. HOW WE USE COOKIES

Cookies are files or information that can be stored on your devices, when you visit ISI Pages. Generally, a cookie contains the name of the website that originated it, its lifetime and a value, which is generated randomly.

ISI uses cookies to facilitate use and better adapt the Pages to your interests and needs, as well as to compile information about the use of our sites and services, helping to improve their structures and content. Cookies can also be used to speed up your future activities and experiences on the Pages.

ISI uses third-party partners for access statistics:

– Google Analytics, as a provider of access statistics, uses cookies to record user and visitor activity within ISI and elsewhere on the internet.

Statistical partners use techniques to directly collect access data. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. Other techniques (such as cookies, JavaScript or Web Beacons) can also be used by partners to generate access statistics.

ISI has no access to or control over the cookies used by statistical services. Information on how these partners use their data, as well as instructions for personalization and usage permissions can be found at the following address: Google Analytics.

IV. WITH WHO WE SHARE THE DATA

ISI may share the information collected through the Pages, in the following cases:

  1. With partner companies in the development and updating of the software;
  2. Upon court order or at the request of administrative authorities that have legal competence for your request.

V. HOW WE KEEP DATA SECURE

ISI will store the information collected on its Pages on its own servers.

ISI uses reasonable market and legally required means to preserve the privacy of the data collected on its Pages. Thus, it adopts the following precautions, in compliance with the guidelines on safety standards established in Decree nº 8.771 / 2016, such as:

  1. ISI guarantees that the CLIENT’s identity is encrypted using the AES algorithm, thus preventing its identification, and is available for any audits requested by the CLIENT;
  2. ISI guarantees that it does not have access to the individual results of the User, being able to only see the general amount of all data included in the ISI Sys without the possibility of identifying the source of the data.

iii. ISI undertakes not to copy or use the confidential information listed here, except for the use of data without a source name for scientific purposes or to improve the system itself.

  1. ISI has protection against unauthorized access to its systems;
  2. ISI only authorizes the access of previously established persons to the place where the collected information is stored;

saw. Those who contact the information must undertake to maintain absolute confidentiality. Breach of confidentiality will result in civil liability and the person responsible will be held responsible according to Brazilian law; and

ISI adopts the best efforts in order to preserve the privacy of Users’ data. However, no website is completely secure and ISI cannot fully guarantee that all information that travels on the Pages is not subject to unauthorized access by means of methods developed to obtain information improperly. For this reason, we encourage Users to take appropriate measures to protect themselves, for example, by keeping all usernames and passwords confidential.

VI. RETENTION OF COLLECTED INFORMATION

Personal information collected by ISI through the Pages will be deleted from its servers when the user requests the elimination of their personal data or at the end of the ISI Sys usage agreement. As the personal information collected used to identify and view the data entered in ISI Sys, after deletion the user is unable to use ISI Sys.

The generated activity logs (logs) will be stored on your server for approximately 6 months.

Without prejudice, the information may be kept for compliance with legal or regulatory obligation, transfer to a third party – as long as the data processing requirements are respected – and exclusive use of ISI, being prohibited its access by a third party, as long as anonymized.

VII. YOUR RIGHTS

In compliance with the applicable regulations, with regard to the processing of personal data, ISI respects and guarantees to the User, the possibility of submitting requests based on the following rights:

  1. i) confirmation of the existence of treatment;
  2. ii) access to data;

iii) the correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;

  1. iv) the anonymization, blocking or elimination of unnecessary, excessive or non-compliant data;
  2. v) the portability of your data to another service or product supplier, upon express request by the User;
  3. vi) the elimination of data processed with the User’s consent;

vii) information about the possibility of not giving your consent, as well as being informed about the consequences, in case of refusal;

viii) the withdrawal of consent.

Part of these rights may be exercised directly by the User, through the management of account information, on the user’s registration page. The other changes will depend on the submission of a request for further evaluation and adoption of other measures by ISI.

If you need any assistance to exercise your rights, the User can contact ISI, according to the guidelines in this Policy.

The User is aware that the exclusion of essential information for the management of his account with ISI will result in the termination of his registration, with the consequent cancellation of the services then provided.

ISI will make every effort to fulfill such requests in the shortest possible time. However, even in case of exclusion request, the minimum storage period for information of users of Internet applications, determined by Brazilian legislation, will be respected.

VIII. LEGISLATION AND JURISDICTION

This Policy will be governed, interpreted and executed in accordance with the Laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, especially Law No. 13,709/2018, regardless of the Laws of other states or Countries, with the User having jurisdiction to resolve any doubts arising from this document.
